Tech and Sales Support “Water Nerd” (Full-Time, Remote)

40 hrs/week

Summary

Hydroviv is a water filtration startup based in Knoxville, TN that is focused on improving water quality within the home by building water filters that are optimized for each customer’s water.  We’re looking for a person who is passionate about Hydroviv’s mission and will establish her/himself at a tech startup during a time of rapid growth following a successful appearance on ABC’s Shark Tank.

Position

The role is a full-time position that is responsible for selling Hydroviv’s water filters through best in class support direct to consumer and channel partnerships. This is a key customer and partner-facing role within the company and requires the utmost integrity and professionalism at all times while representing a credible scientific organization. Success in this role will lead to growth within the company.

    Qualifications

    Must-Haves:
    • Mechanically inclined and able to explain installation process to customers
    • Uncompromising integrity and patience when communicating with public
    • Passion for water quality and willingness to become a domain expert in water filtration
    • Self-starter with excellent time management, problem solving and organizational skills
    • Strong communication, interpersonal, and phone skills
    • G Suite/Microsoft Office proficiency
    • Ability and willingness to play a key role in fielding and triaging support requests as needed
    “Nice-to-Haves”:
    • Science/health background
    • Sales or customer support experience (1+ years)
    • Experience with E-Commerce platforms (e.g. Gorgias, Shopify, ReCharge, Klaviyo)
    • Knowledge of general plumbing 
    Responsibilities:
    • Field and follow up on inbound inquiries through email, chat, social media, and phone
    • Lead/Support outbound channel partner sales
    • Manage a variety of sales admin and backend platform tasks to assist in day-to-day operations
    • Assist in process/training documentation and initiatives to improve internal ops and customer experience
    • Represent the Hydroviv brand in all communications and to prospects and customers
